There are many different BC angling adventures to choose from, whether your dream is to heli-fish for trout in remote mountain lakes, troll the Pacific for giant Chinook Salmon, or anything in between. Beautiful British Columbia offers fly-in fishing trips that most anglers only dream about!!

Crazy Bear Lake Lodge

Crazy Bear Lake Lodge – Wilderness fly-in fishing in the Chilcotin Alplands, 250 air miles north of Vancouver BC. Crazy Bear Lodge offers fantastic fly fishing for native trout species on six lakes, and a stream in the area. Stunning scenery, and an abundance of wildlife only adds to the phenomenal fishing experience in this remote wilderness setting. How you fish is up to you. Whether you fly fish, spincast or troll, just be prepared for your arms to tire before the fish do!
Stay in one of our four comfortable, private log cottages during your visit – perhaps you’d even like to camp out in our teepee for a night!

Crazy Bear Lake Lodge

Our cottages accomodate from one to six individuals each, and provide all the necessary amenities including hot showers, bedding/linens and a refrigerator. Dinners are prepared professionally and served with wine in the dining lodge. Breakfasts and delicious shore lunches are also included. During your stay enjoy full access to our boats and motors, canoes, as well as float tubes and fins. Spare fly lines and favourite local fly patterns are also available at the lodge. Guides are definitely not needed in order for you to experience great fishing, but are available for hire.

Ole’s is located in two prime destinations along British Columbia’s spectacular west coast. Stephens Pass (May – June) is located on BC’s north coast, right on the feeding grounds of the abundant early runs of the legendary Skeena and Nass River systems Chinook salmon. We move the Lodge to the central coast in Hakai Pass (July – Sept.) where migrating salmon runs crowd through Hakai Pass from the open Pacific Ocean, headed for their home rivers and streams.
Accessible only by float plane or boat, you don’t have to worry about fighting off the crowds here. Our locations offer a true wilderness experience amid spectacular scenery.
